‘This is a very sweet story. I liked Scout a lot. It was funny too and I enjoyed the adventure they went on.’ Boy

‘My class enjoyed this book very much. They liked the dog characters, particularly the new puppy, and they liked the mystery they had to solve. It was a little slow in parts but, apart from that, the story is well written with lots of ‘funny bits’. The children liked that Scout saw his owners as ‘his people’.’ Teacher

‘Well written, fun story, perfect for younger children. Nothing dark and scary in this short book. The author has a strong imagination and the writing skills to get everything across to the reader in simple, easy to follow prose.’ Teacher
